My 79 year old mother moved in with me last June. I purchased the ZoPid monitor to have in her downstairs bedroom. Mom has dementia and must be monitored 24-7. A regular monitor without having the video would have worked, however having the ZoPid has saved me countless trips up and down the stairs because I can see if she is trying to get out of bed, vs just rolling over, etc. There is absolutely no interference with any of my other electronic equipment items, including wireless modem, microwave, digital phones, etc. I can take the monitor outside on my deck or even to my carport and still see the video clearly. This equipment also has night vision technology, shown in black and white video. I can clearly see mom no matter what time it is. There is a small red light on the camera, which does not bother her at all. There is also a volume control on the monitor. The camera will zoom in, or up to the right or left, center, or lower left or right. The monitor is portable, easy to carry around, and very easy to operate. I do not know about the battery life, as I keep mine plugged in at all times.
