Equate brand ChlorTabs are a pretty decent, low cost allergy medication that I'd recommend to anyone. For me, they start working pretty quickly, offering relief from the majority of my allergy symptoms. The only downfall I've really experienced with taking them is that they only work for a few hours at a time and have to be taken many times throughout the day. On the other hand, taking a tablet now and again has provided me with a boost in allergy coverage during those times where my regular medication isn't enough. Effectiveness ChlorTabs work astoundingly well for the specific type of allergy medication that it is. My only wish is that its effects lasted longer than they do, and that they didn't need to be taken so often. Ease of Use A single, small yellow tablet constitutes the dosage of this allergy medicine. It swallows very easy, making it very simple to use. Immediacy I have found ChlorTabs to work very quickly in helping to get my allergy symptoms under control.

This is going to stay in my drug cabinet for when I need it. And reading the box showed it was a safer alternative for others in my family with heart and thyroid issues. While I do not have these problems, it is good to remember that a lot of cold and sinus medications are not so good for people. Within thirty minutes I had some relief although it wasn't completely gone. Luckily for me I did not have any side effects which can be very common with these types of drugs. I was breathing almost normally by the hour mark and I kept up with the recommended dosage for the next two days. Also being an Equate brand, this medication is a lot cheaper than what you would buy in the drug store, and a LOT cheaper than any name brand medications. Being so low profile, people may not even know this drug is out there. In fact I only did because our vet recommended one quarter to one half of this pill to our cat with a recurring form of kitty herpes virus. Now that I know however, it will be staying in our medicine cabinet. I had no side effects from using this, but you might depending on your history.

For average results, the price can't be beat. If someone wants something a little stronger, he probably will need to pay more. Effectiveness As far as this type of product goes, this is average. It does not give much better results than other brands, but it also does not give much worse results than other similar brands. Ease of Use These tablets are not overly large or difficult to use. If someone has a strong aversion to pills, then they certainly may have some trouble with them. But for most, these are very easy to use. The relatively small packaging also makes them portable, making them easy to transport and use on the go as well as at home. Immediacy In my personal experience, this product seems to work as quickly as any of the equivalent alternatives that I have tried. It still may not be as fast as some people would like, but it is about the best available, in my experience. However, different people may have different experiences, and it may not work for them as quickly as they would like.

I needed to find an allergy medicine that I was able to take that was compatible with my high blood pressure medication. I went to the pharmacist and he recommended this. The bottle is easy to open. The safety seal can be taken off easily. Each tablet is small and easy to swallow. I have found at times when I have needed to take one of these tablets, I was able to swallow one without difficulty when I had no water to take it with. The bottle is small and can easily be carried in your purse. I found the medication itself to be very effective for my allergies. It works quickly, does not interfere with any other medications I am taking and does not make me drowsy. It is very cost effective also. It has a long shelf life so I am able to purchase several bottles so I can keep one in my purse, one in my car, one in my medicine cabinet at home. The facts and directions on the bottle can be read easily and is not confusing.

I come from a family where we all have seasonal allergies and we ALWAYS have Equate Chlortabs in the house. One of the best things about this product is that it works just as well as name brand allergy medicines for itchy, sneezy allergy symptoms! It really helps my seasonal outdoor allergies and calms the constant itchy nose and sneezing feelings. You really can't get a better value than Equate Chlortabs for daily seasonal allergies. I recommend this for anyone on a budget that has pesky allergies that cause them discomfort. Effectiveness Works great and works fast. I stop sneezing and feeling itchy within the first hour. Ease of Use For me it just takes one tab and it last for half a day or so. I take in the morning and if my allergies start to flare up again later in the day then I take another tab. Immediacy Within the first hour I notice significant relief from allergy symptoms such as itchy nose and sneezing.

As the title says, this is by far my favorite allergy medicine on the market. I have tried EVERYTHING through my life, and this is the one thing that I have found that really works. You take one pill every four to six hours, and it almost immediately gets rid of any and all symptoms you have from your allergies. My allergist even told me you can take two at a time, just up the hours between them to six to eight hours. It does not make you drowsy, so you can take it at any time you need it and function regularly. I have recommended it to everyone I know, and they all love it as much as I do and use it everyday! Comes in a bottle for good portability. Effectiveness Works so amazingly! Gets rid of all symptoms very well! Ease of Use As long as you can swallow a pill, you can take this. The pills are very small, however there is no coating on them and they taste bad if you allow them to dissolve too long :P Immediacy Works very fast, within a matter of minutes.

**How Did I End Up With This?** When I went on a trip last year, I had forgotten to bring any allergy medicine. I figured since I was going into an area where I was usually allergy free, it would not be a big deal. I was wrong. In the past I used to use an Equate version of allergy medicine which worked, although it made me very tired. I had developed some allergy symptoms on this trip, however, so I had to look for some allergy medicine just to survive. The no longer made the allergy medicine I used to take- and I was frustrated. So many things give me bad reactions that I did not know what to do. I finally came across Equate Chlortabs which said they did not make you tired. I highly doubted they would work, but I was desperate so I bought them and Claratin. The Claratin was useless for me, so I stopped taking anything at all. Funny because my allergy symptoms cleared up just as they always did, so I did not need any medicine. **How Effective is This?** This year I got hit hard with allergies, which is unusual because I rarely have them to a great degree anymore.  However, this year was hard. I was on my way to another trip, when I discovered this unopened box of Equate Chlortabs. A bottle has 100 tabs in it and you are only supposed to take one at a time every four hours. I find I rarely need to take more than two in a day and I am fine. And no bad reactions!!! Effectiveness When I got to the same city where I had the reaction previously, I took an Equate Chlortab and within an hour, my symptoms had lightened greatly. They did not make me tired, although allergies did wear me out a bit. I have used Equate Chlortabs a few times with good results. Nose clears up, sneezing stops, and I don't feel wiped out or drowsy from the pills. In my book that is great news. Ease of Use Easy to take! Works well. Immediacy Takes about a half hour or so to really notice an effect.
