LOVE THE Bosch 700-Watt Universal Kitchen Machine MUM6630

5

I have had my bosch for over five years now and I use it almost every single day.  I also have the blender that comes with the bosch.  I use the bosch bowl to make bread every week.  The bread is amazing and I've had friends (who don't own bosches) try to use my recipe and their bread doesn't turn out nearly as well.  Even if I go to their help and help them use whatever machine they have.  The Bosch has so much power that it can really whip and knead the bread.   The blender is also great.  I use it to make smoothies most mornings and I make peanut butter about once a month.  You just throw roasted peanuts in the blender and turn it on.  It takes a few minutes and a little help to get it going because the peanuts are so thick.  But if you let it run for about 4 minutes you get delicious creamy peanut butter.  I tried to make peanut butter in my friends vitamix and the engine burnt out.  I've made it probably 25 time in my blender and I've never had a problem.  The bosch is extremely durable and effective!

Wouldn't want to cook without my Bosch!

5

I was given my Bosch universal kitchen machine for Christmas in 2001.  As an avid baker, I had been using my Grandmother's Bosch that she had used for years and my Mother had used for years as well.  This well used Bosch was still in ideal running condition, but my Mom wanted it back, so she bought me my own! Since that Christmas (9 years!), I have used my Bosch between 2 and 4 times each week, depending on what meals, treats, or bread I was making.  My Bosch easily mixes enough dough for 5 full size loaves of homemade bread without a problem.  I did buy the cookie paddles as an extra attachment and prefer those over the paddles that come with the Bosch for making cookies, beating fudge, and mixing meatloaf.  Other than that, I use the whisk attachments and the dough hook for everything else from bread dough to frosting. My Bosch is always out on the counter ready to be used.  I have recommended Bosch to numerous friends and will never purchase or recommend another type of mixer.  In college I used a KitchenAide mixer, but was never thrilled with the way it worked.  I've never had a problem with my Bosch - even after it took a dive off the counter onto the floor (not recommended, by the way!) because I added too much flour to my roll dough and wasn't paying attention as it was mixing!  I just picked the mixer up, put it back on the counter, plugged it in, and it began mixing again as if nothing had happened! You get what you pay for and the Bosch Universal Kitchen Machine is WELL WORTH the money!

Bosch helps make our bread for the week

5

My husband and I love this product! When the price of bread started to go up, we found it is cheaper to make our own bread. Thanks to the Bosch mixer, it only takes my husband 2 hours from beginning to end to make six loaves of bread. He does this twice a week. The Bosch is great, we have not had any problems with it at all in the two or three years we've been using it.  It has replaced our hand mixers, I use it for all of my mixing needs. The design is great, I love that it is open with no stand mixer in the bowl, so I have plenty of room to add ingredients.  It is also very easy to clean.  We just put all the components in the dishwasher. This does tend to be more expensive than other mixers, but it is more durable and efficient.  My mother-in-law has been using her same Bosch mixer for over 10 years.  I can't say enough great things about this wonderful product! Now that we make our bread from scratch, we also plan on buying the wheat grinder that can attatch to the mixer so we can grind our own wheat as well.

Awesome Kitchen Item!

5

Growing up I always used a Bosch Universal mixer, so after I got married I bought one with our wedding money. It is a very expensive kitchen item but well worth the money! My mom's is about fifteen to twenty years old and still going strong! I know mine will last a long time too so it is well worth it! I love home made bread and it is easy to make with the Bosch machine. It kneads the dough very nicely and is easy to use. I have also made a number of other things in it as well. Mine came with a whisk attachment so I have made cake batter in it and have also used it to beat eggs. A few things I don't really care for about it is that sometimes as the dough kneads it messes up the lid and once the lid flew off onto the floor! Thankfully it did not break! So as it kneads I have to keep an eye on the lid and adjust it every once and a while. The other draw back is that the bowl is not very easy to clean. I have to use tooth picks to make sure all the dough is out of all the little areas. I still think it is worth it all though!

Love it

I have owned and used my Bosch 700 Watt Universal Kitchen Machine MUM6630 for over 5 years. I use it to make bread, other doughs, bake treats, and even to shred chicken. The attachments I have include two cookie paddles, two whisks, and a bread hook. The blender is also excellent. I use it to make everything from salad dressings, salsas, smoothies, and milkshakes. It is easy to clean and store. The motor is powerful enough for kneeding dough. I like the two options for covering the bowl. The outer cover is great to help keep spraying down as you add ingredients, and the full cover is essential when you are mixing in dusty ingredients like flower or cocoa. One thing to take note of. When you are kneeding dough with the dough hook, in the late stages, make sure to keep an eye on the base. As the dough gets more firm, the machine can start to wiggle on the counter. Just make sure your machine is not close to the edge of the counter.

A good mixer

4

I have had this mixer for about five years and I really have gotten a lot of use out of it. We started baking our own bread for health reasons and found out a mixer would make the job a lot easier. I use it for all of our baking needs like bread and cookies. We also use it to make peanut butter pie. The mixer came with dough hooks and it also came with mixers to make cookies. The attatchments are really easy to wash. I do not put them in the dishwasher, though. The lid to the mixer is in two pieces which makes it easy to add ingredients while it is mixing and you can put the lid in the dishwasher. There is a crack in the bowl and I called to get a replacement bowl. I did not end up buying the bowl because it was really expensive. I have gotten a lot of use out of this mixer but I will probably buy a Kitchen Aid in the future because I want the pasta attachment. This is a good mixer and worth the money.

I love my bosch

4

I love my bosch. We've got it used and it still works like it is brand new. We are making so many homemade fresh peach shakes with the blender. It's been the best blender we've had (we've gone through like 3 other brand of blenders all for them to brake). We love our bosch. We're hoping to get a little extra mulah and get a higher watt, but until then, this one works great. It does shake a lot of you put it on high speed and it's a little too full, so you have to constantly be watching it so it doesn't fall of your counter. My little boys like to help turn the dial to mix things and help 'mommy.' We got the wheat grinder, but have yet to use it. One day, hopefully we'll find some time to test it out. Until then though, we are loving what the bosch mixer has done for us so far. It really has sped up dinner process. I can now make bread in half the time that I used to, and my husband is loving that. Ü

Bosch is amazing!

5

I like to make my own bread, and I couldn't do it without the Bosch.  I usually use 12-15 cups flour at a time without problems with the motor or dough hooks.  The Bosch is so much better than KitchenAid or other mixers for making bread in bulk!  My only complaint is that sometimes the dough falls down the middle tube of the bowl, so I have to unscrew 4 screws and take out the middle metal piece in order to clean inside the bowl tube.  It's kind of a hassle (why can't Bosch engineer something to eliminate this???) but well worth it because the alternative mixers are inferior.
