I am a huge fan of Carmex products. They are by far the most helpful product that I have found for my terribly dry and chapped lips. The analgesic is wonderful! I absolutely loved the ease of application with the tube! It goes on smoothly without messing up your fingers the way the little pot containers often can. The smell is truly pleasant which is appreciated, especially since my husband doesn't like the smell of original Carmex. My only real complaint, which is an enormous complaint, with this product is the taste. It gets into my mouth and is truly horrible! And it takes forever to get rid of. I have tried drinking something to clear out my mouth, but that seldom helps and of course affects the taste of whatever I am drinking. I hated the thought of wasting money by not using it, so I kept giving it a try in hopes I would adapt. However, that was not the case and sadly it ended up being money down the drain.

Out of all the lip moisturizing products out there, Carmex Strawberry Moisturizing Lip Balm happens to be one of my highest rated, absolute favorites. I honestly don't believe there is many out there that can hold it's ground the Carmex Brand does. First and foremost, I love Carmex because it works. It starts working the moment you apply it. You can honestly feel it right away. You will feel a light sensation on your lips. Even if your lips are severely chapped, the Carmex brand will knock it right out in a hurry. It is highly effective. It definitely delivers on it's promises made in it's advertisements - which says a lot to me. I trust the Carmex company and am a very satisfied customer. I have nothing except good things to say about Carmex. It is a tiny bit more expensive than some of it's competitors but is well worth the extra few cents. I feel confident in highly recommending this product to everyone. It really is a great product.

I love this product. It seems to have a silkier feel than the original Carmex product. It glides on just as easy, maybe even easier. I like how soft it makes my lips and it still smells like Carmex, only has a hint of sweet strawberry. I really took a liking to this product and I do not see why others rated it so poorly on here. I use it year round because I am prone to chapped lips, but especially in the winter time. I would recommend this product to anybody because it's a great twist on the original Carmex product, yet still just as effective.

Carmex Lip Balm is one of my favorite lip balms - and I have tried many. It's biggest attribute, for me, is that it has to be one of the least expensive products for moisturing/protecting from the suns rays, yet performance wise, it is far from the lower end of the pack. It really does do exactly what it says on the tin, as they say! It keeps your lips moist, it flavors them (if you so desire) but more importantly, it has SPF. My biggest problem with the product, is strangely the flavor. I say strangely, because it is clearly one of the items biggest selling points. But for me, I'm always inclined to lick my lips more when the lip balm is flavored, thereby making my lips even more sore. And so the vicious cycle continues. This is just my opinion, but I personally seem better suited to the medicated or at least, unflavored lip balms. However if you want bang for your buck, this is just about as good as it gets.

I've been dealing with very dry lips this winter so I've tried several different lip balms in the hopes of finding one that works well for me. I knew that Carmex lip products are pretty popular so I figured that the Strawberry Moisturizing Lip Balm would be a good product. Unfortunately, I was wrong. This lip balm is a pretty major "fail" in my opinion. First of all, while there is a hint of strawberry flavor, it is tainted with a medicinal smell that is a turnoff. Even worse, is that it tastes downright awful! Okay, so I don't go around eating lip balm but it's inevitable that I'm going to taste a product that is on my lips. I can't even describe the taste other than telling you that it's pretty terrible. Seriously, take my word for it and avoid tasting it yourself. After failing the smell and taste test, if I thought that things couldn't get worse with this product, I was wrong. Almost immediately after applying this lip balm, my lips started to hurt and had a burning feeling to them. That feeling even extended to the skin above my mouth. I'm guessing that the burning sensation may be due to the active ingredients listed on the label: Octinoxate and Oxybenzone. Obviously, I do not care for this lip balm one bit and do not recommend it. Sorry Carmex, but this product is an epic fail.

I really enjoy using lip balms, and tend to use them during the day, rather than a lipstick. I have so many that are soothing, hydrating, and make my lips feel like butter. Unfortunately the Carmex Strawberry Moisturising Lip Balm SPF 15, doesn't do this. I was excited to try a strawberry flavored one, as I enjoyed the Avon one, but this one has the medicinal taste to it. When I put it up to my nose I could smell the strawberry, but also the other smell. I put it on my lips and they were certainly hydrated, but my lips felt a heat, burn, or almost sore where the other ingredient went into them. I know Carmex is a good product and has been going for years, but it isn't a product that I will use again. Another one to be given away.
