Washing clothes has never been a forte of mine nor do I enjoy it. I absolutely hate messing with laundry detergents and fabric softeners, staining my fingers and in the process making me smell awful. This washing machine, even though requires me to go about this process, makes it faster and easier as well. This machine does require me to load the detergent and liquid fabric softener but the amount of buttons I have to press to get the machine started makes me spend less time in the garage and ultimately, makes me feel less of a mess to take a shower after wards. The thing I appreciate the most about this machine is that the loading capacity, which in the process let's me makes less trips as well. Energy Efficiency This machine is definitely energy efficient. I have seen no noticeable increases in my electric bills. Cleaning Time The cleaning time honestly does not get me too excited but I honestly do not know the standard in what makes a fast washing machine. Performance This machine gets the job done with no complaints. Ease of Use This machine does not have me tinkering with too many buttons and settings to do it's job. Design A fine looking washing machine. Durability Built to last no doubt about it.

I purchased this washer a little over a year ago and Im not happy with it at all. I can only put in half a load of laundry at one time or it will rip the clothes. It chewed up my brand new comforter the first time I washed it. It is extremely noisy when washing and spinning. I would not recommend this washer to anyone.

This particular washing machine was purchased by me and was used about once a month for moderate loads of washing clothes. I mainly bought this for the large load it can handle and have used clothes and also sheets in there to wash. It was a decent buy considering the load amount, but it was a bit on the expensive side also. i do not like that it does not have a spin-only cycle as i do wash some uniform white pants and tops by hand and would've like to dried them in the washing machines spin-cycle, especially during the cold winter months but that was not possible. I personally would not recommend this washing machine as you can get even better ones at lower prices today and make sure it has a spin-only feature as you never know when you might need it.

In 3 years we have had service on this machine 5 times. Definately check out other review sites and see what people have to say about this macine before you purchase one. We have had the tubes replaced because it is the same exact size as a quarter and if one gets stuck it breaks. We also had the electric redone in it because some of the wires rusted and we need to replace the computer in it now because it beeps, flashes lights, flashes error codes at us, starts and stops when it wants to (even in the middle of the night) and is all around a horrible machine. Defiantely do your homework before purchasing this macine. Also, customer service is not the best. You will hear over and over, "we are really sorry for you, but the machine is 3 years old and they don't last forever, maam".

My husband and I bought this prior to being married because our washer had broken. We didn't do much research and boy did we get lucky. This washer is amazing and if I had it to do all over again I would do it the same. It has a super large tub that with no center agitator which allows me to wash things like comforters and blankets  with no problem at all. I never have to fight them with the agitator or take them to the laundry mat, it can all be easily done in the comfort of my own home. Also, as a busy mom it gives me more time because my laundry loads can be much larger. We are currently a home of 3(soon to be 4) and I only do 2 occassionally 3 loads of laundry each week! This is considering my husband works in a factory and changes each day he arrives home, so he essentially wears 2 outfits each day. Its large capacity is great for any family especially a large one. If you are considering this washer I would highly recommend it!

This is the absolute best washing machine I have ever had.  I am really glad I decided to go with the top loading HE rather than the front loader, it just suits me better.  This washer holds so much since the HE machines doen't have the large agitator in the middle of the wash bin.  There are so many good settings to choose from and it senses how much water you load needs.  I have never had a problem with soap left over in the few years I have had this. My one requirement on my next washer would be a "spin only" cycle.  At times I would have an unlevel load due to an overabsorbent towel or blanket.  When that happens the maching stops and codes UL for unlevel.  At that time I can level the clothing if that is all that is needed and the cycle can continue.  However, when it is based on just too heavy of an item, I take one out.  This is the point where I would want a spin only for the garnment I take out so that I can put it in after the load finishes and just spin out the water.  Can't do it on this model.  Have to atleast rinse it once before spin cycle works. Otherwise, this is the perfect washer.  The bin is stainless steel with a plastic rim. Very good quality product that I use more than the average family.

I have had this washer for 3 years and love it.  I can wash huge bedspreads or just a few items under the express cycle.  It's not a big deal to wash lage throw pillows.  This washer is expensive, but if you go to a laundry mat to wash big items, this washer & dryer set will pay for itself in a few years.

Where to begin. The Kenmore Elite Oasis Washing Machine is one of the best investments I have made.  I love the fact that there is no agitator, leaving more room to use.  I can fit in our King sized comforter with ease.  I have a big family so being able to wash 20 bath towels, the kind you would use on the beach, is just a plus. I can wash so many jeans in one load making my washing easier.  Also, Kenmore Elite washer not having the agitator not only allows you to have less loads of laundry to do, but also saves time and money.  It is so simple to use.  You can easily specify what type of load you're doing and the control panel adjusts the soil level, water temperatures and spin speed.  It also has a feature for you do do a double rinse if needed.  I have not had any bad experience with rust or not having the clothes cleaned.  The only down side is, it doesn't come with a soak feature, where with older models you could fill up the washer an pop the dial. If the washer fills up and you try to open the lid, it will drain all of the water in it first.  But, other than that it is definitely worth the money!
