Basic, inexpensive, but does what it's supposed to do.

This oven was in the home when we bought it, so I'm not sure how old it is. Nevertheless, it does seem old due to the appearance and features. There's not much to it. I purchased a thermometer to gauge the temperature just to make sure it is accurate and it is. I love to bake and an oven keeping an accurate temperature is necessary. After insuring that the temperature I set the oven at is accurate, I found that this oven works well--very well in fact. I haven't had any issues with anything baking too quickly or too slowly. Capacity It's not a huge oven, but large enough for most baking, roasting and broiling needs. The big plus with this oven is that it has a "convection" option. I use this when I need to bake or roast more than one item requiring using more than one shelf. Performance I really haven't had any issues with broiling, baking or roasting. Unless I make a mistake leaving something in too long, the oven doesn't overheat and burn items. That is an issue with some other ovens I've tried. The broiler doesn't broil evenly. So, I do rotate the pan halfway through a broil. However, I find that issue with other ovens as well. Ease of Cleaning The oven is supposed to be auto clean cycle. It doesn't work that well. That's fine because I don't mind a few stains. Ease of Use It's pretty easy to use. I push a button and it's ready to go. It has a timer, which helps too. Durability I haven't had any issues and I've lived here for over five years. I know the oven is older than that. Design It isn't very pretty, but it works.

Whirlpool Built-in Electric Oven RBS305PV is a very nice surprise because it works pretty well. I like using it because it is easy to operate. I don't like ovens that are so complicated that I get confused on how to use them. I believe in the motto: "less is more". Anyway, I think this oven heats up pretty quickly and lets you know when it's ready for you to cook what you want. Whenever I cook something in this oven, my food comes out great tasting. I like the "bake, broil" etc. features which makes this oven almost a dream product. I like the size of this oven, it's not too big, but to be perfectly honest, I like small ovens. I haven't seen an oven that's small enough for me anywhere. I like the color of this oven, as it is quite delightful to look at. I wish it wasn't so expensive though, but then again, all ovens are expensive, unless you get them on sale. The main reason I give the "Whirlpool Built-in Electric Oven RBS305PV" "4 STARS" is because it's too big. It's a good oven though, and I like it quite a bit.

Too heavy oven with few features

This oven door is very heavy and also it is also with few features. It is good, but not the best. Also, it is really complicated user guide and manual. The digital display is very dim needs more brightness.

The Whirlpool oven works great, bakes perfectly.

I have the stainless steel Whirlpool oven, which I like the looks of.  It does get smudges, but we just wipe them with a damp cloth.  It bakes perfectly, usually at the minimum time suggested on recipes.  The timer is loud enough for us to hear and repeats itself until we cancel it, which helps if you forget to tend to it right away. When you preheat the oven, you must press "bake" then set the temperature, then press "start".  This may be a safety feature for children, but it is annoying when we forget to press "start" and the oven shuts off.
