Not as much of a miracle as I was hoping.

When my husband picked up the Miracle Hand Repair cream for me, I was ecstatic! I had heard so many wonderful things about it and couldn't wait to try it out for myself! I was disappointed. It was NOT a complete failure, but I did get my hopes up a bit too high. Scent The scent was great! It wasn't strong, too floral, or have any of that medicinal smell that makes you eyes water! I was thankful for that! Absorption I have to say, the absorption rate was decent. It didn't take forever to get it into the skin to feel some relief, and it certainly wasn't soaked into the skin so fast that it didn't seem like anything was slathered on! It did feel nice on my red, burning, cracking, peeling, stinging, and weeping hands. Effectiveness It was not as helpful as I thought. I was hoping for an hour of relief, but I only got 10 minutes. I even tried massaging it in longer in the hopes that there would be a better relief time if I used it at longer intervals. It may be effective for others, but those of us who suffer with excruciating skin pain, this may not be the diamond you need in the rough (skin, that is!).

Excellent protection for hands that are being washed frequently.

Great cream for hospital employees who need to wash frequently between patients and procedures and who are gloving repeatedly to maintain universal precautions. Use of aloe cream prevents chafing and skin breakdown and also facilitates quick healing if skin has gotten too dry. Scent Neutral fragrance Absorption Non-greasy quick absorbing cream. Effectiveness Highly protective against dryness. Also allows chafed hands to heal quickly after too frequent washing.

Wonderfully Hydrating Hand Cream

5

When I purchased this in the store I really thought it would be a flop.  I've tried a lot of hand creams on my very dry hands and figured someone from TV wouldn't work very well. This cream has a very unique feeling when you first apply it.  It feels heavy at first, and if you put a lot on at first like I tend to do it has a yuck factor.  In your hands it seems normal but when spread on its much heavier then it appears and feels somewhat slimy (its reminiscent of a heavily oil based cream yet slightly different).  *It does however fade very quickly*.  This hand cream does absorb into your hands pretty fast.  Depending on how much you put on it'll all be absorbed in a minute or two - **really** absorbed, not just a coating like a lot of the oil based creams tend to do.  That in itself is the really neat thing about this cream - *it truly hydrates!*  Unlike a lot of creams that just protect the high aloe content of this really helps soak into the skin. Since its aloe based and not oil based your hands don't have that slick feeling to the, so this is great if you really need to be able to use your hands. This is my next to the best "go to" cream.  When my hands are dry I know that this will really hydrate my dry skin, and the tube lasts forever because you don't need much.  you can notice a difference in the hydration right away, unlike some other creams which just help protect while your body replenishes its own.  The only real downside I have for this cream is that it doesn't protect as much as I'd like, but with its hydrating qualities its not really an issues. **In short, this is a wonderful hydrating cream without the heaviness or slickness of oil and is definitely worth the price.**
