This air conditioner really works!  We had a media room over our garage that would even get hot in the winter with the windows open.  We have been using this since the beginning of spring and it is the best window unit I have ever had.  It is energy efficient and it keeps the room within a few degrees of what I set it on.  I thought my electric bill would go up from using this but it actually went down because the central unit isn't constantly running trying to cool the media room.  It was very easy to install, it only took us about an hour.  It has the extension pieces on the side to adjust to your window opening.  It came with a package of seals to put around the window, but I recommend buying some extra that are sticky on one side just to get every possible open air space.  The only negative thing I can say is it is a little loud when it kicks on to cool.  We have to turn the TV up quite a bit just to hear and then turn it down when it kicks off.  Other than that it is wonderful.

Being the bargin hunter that I am, I was quite pleased with the retail price of the Frigidaire FAA087S7A air conditioner. We live in a two story house and this one air conditiioner has been all we need to cool the whole house in the sticky summer months, which is really good because it saves money and energy. this air conditioner by frigidaire is very quite and powerful, it cools very quickly. It has a very nice style so it can easily fit into any type of space, the remote is sleek and tiny with options of timer, energy saver, fan only, sleep, and auto fan. It is made well, of high quality and built to last. We got it two years ago when we moved in and use the fan all year round and the cool setting everyday and sometimes all day in the hot summer months and we haven't had a problem with performance. I would recommended to everyone, it is truly a great value for the small price. we are happy with it
