Heard this was a fantastic site to book broadway shows and so much more with. That is completely false, bought 3 tickets to Aladdin for a Friday night. Paid over $800 for orchestra tickets - we made our way to nyc (we are in from texas staying in New Jersey). Only to find out a few hours before the show VIA email!!!!!! Our transaction was cancelled and the funds would be refunded within 5 business days... you would think that a phone call which would have been nice! I called to ask what the hell happened??? I got a snotty agent and she gave me the " it was for security, and it happens sometimes" well a phone call would have been nice! She suggested I go to the theatre ... are you kidding me? After you took my money!!!!! Went to the theater and they are sold out!!!!!

One of my favorite features is the restaurant section. It will give you some of the top rated restaurants to go to in the city. It also has a running side bar on the main page of current events happening in New York City. This is an incredible website and one I would highly recommend using before you travel to New York City. I live near New York City and have visited this site. First, its a great way to find new places to go and things to see in New York that you might not have never know existed. You can always discover things in NYC, so don't shy away from using a website like this. The nightlife and restaurant section is a great way for locals to find new places to go and try without having to go far away. And of course if its good for the locals, its perfect for tourists as well. It has everything from reviews of restaurants and locations to booking hotels. Broadway shows and sports teams, as well as all the museums are featured on here. Ease of Use It might seem cluttered to some, but everything is right there and easy to click on and find once you scroll around. The hotel part is right in the corner on the front page. Obviously there are a lot of resources about New York City. Hundreds of books and websites claim to be "the" place to get information. They do offer a lot of great information, but I found NYC.com to be the best resource when I was making plans for an impromptu trip down to the city. Everything you could possibly want is centrally located and easy to find information about. Whether you want to catch a hot show, see a taping of a daily show, see a sporting event, visit a museum or find the best place to eat, it is all right there at your finger tips. Ease of Use Although the main home page is visually crowded, it is easy to navigate because of the categories and how they are clearly labeled. Features There are a lot of features that make this site easy to use and helpful. I especially enjoyed the interactive hotel map. It was easy to determine how far your hotel is from other area attractions adn I loved that there was an easy way to eyeball the prices for various hotels. It was also easy to get ideas for the day we were there because of the daily calendar feature.

It really is a time saver because it has so much listed on the site. You will not only find the best of hotels other types of accommodations but also a very nice range of pricing for them. Their innovative interactive hotel map will simplify things for you by far. If you like Broadway Shows or Plays, their are plenty to choose from. It came in handy the most for my family when I was trying to plan activities for us to do. There is no reason to be discouraged with this site because I was able to browse, locate what I wanted, get questions answered quickly and ease my mind about what to expect when we arrived. You will be able to easily map out the shows, the night life plans and where to find the nearest grocery store and day tours. This site honestly isn't lacking very much although, there is one thing I wish they'd add. Their only downfall in my opinion is that they don't have an area with coupons, coupon codes or other deals and specials that are currently available in the local area. Since the people who are visiting the site are there to get it all at one site, I think that would be a nice feature for them to add in. Other than that, the site is very useful for planning an awesome trip.

Its a really smart idea to have this website, as New York City can be an intimidating place to visit if you have never been there before. I lived in New york City for a about 4 years, and I am impressed by this website. I think it's important to visit the usual touristy things, but there's so much to NYC than that. I love telling and showing friends and family who visit, the restaurants, stores, neighborhoods that not everyone knows about. This website does a good job of still representing that area of NYC well. It's not just about Times square. I love how they organize everything and categorize things, especially the restaurants. They use great categories like Deals, celebrity chefs, pre-theatre,family etc. That's a huge help! Also I really think the visit guide page is great. It breaks down NYC into the neighborhoods and has many other topics you may want to know about before you get there.

NYC.com is super easy to use. It is rather basic though and doesn't feature any social media connectivity within the site besides a basic "share this!" to you social media profile. They have reviews on the places but I am always skeptical about because they could be the owners or employees making false reviews. The site has a lot of potential though. New York City is really confusing and finding a certain building or event can be a huge hassle so I love the fact that they integrate maps in to this website to find a restaurant or a show. The best part about this site is how I can view all the shows on Broadway and the area on one page. I can even search by the date which makes it easier for me to find a show that is performing when I will be in the city. I did feel like the shopping part was unnecessary, as it is New York City and you will stumble upon countless amounts of stores while you are there. Customer Service Customer service is a bit slow. I wish they would have an online chat option also.

Features I love the features of being able to learn about the different broad way shows and concerts going on in New York City. A trip to New York City isn't complete without going to a broad way show! And the site makes it easy to narrow down your choices.
